Once a year Sandhill Cranes stop by the Othello region of the Columbia Basin to set and refuel. After the irrigation project was put in during the 1930s ponds and lakes cropped up in the region and farming went into full swing, perfect bird sanctuary. This section is a mix of pictures from 2008 and 2009.
