This is an 8-mile out and back hike about 14 miles past the SR-97 and SR-14 junction on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. It's pretty easy going until you get to about a mile from the summit and then things get steep. The Trail head is an unmarked gate at N 45º 39.422' W 121º 05.195'. This hike done in mid-May and the wildflowers were just cresting.
