My second attempt at gardening. This year I'll be using two different plots and some improved (hopefully) strategies from last year. Let's see how long the enthusiasm lasts.

heibeck > Experimenting with some starts this year.

heibeck > The cherry tomatoes and zuchinni have gone nuts. Leeks and squash are a little slower, but coming along.

heibeck > Plot #1 tilled and rows made. I'll be planting on the top of the mounts. The idea is to keep the water in and make it easier to weed. Might help give the plants some heat as well.

heibeck > Most of the seeds are sown. I'll be putting time shifting some growth for crops like lettuce, spinach, radishes, and bunching onions. Next we'll put some of the starts and some other plants in plot #2. For this plot we just add water and wait.
